Master Lost Sector Not Dropping Exotic I ran 10 master lost sectors today on the Bunker E15 lost sector to try to get the helmet - nothing. 7 or 8 of them were platinum runs, 2 or 3 were gold. Others are reporting the same thing. Estimated average drop rates are 25% (Legend) and 33% (Master), BUT that is also an average over a very long run. It could take as few as 1 run or as much as 30 runs for a drop. The draw for Lost Sectors is the targeted drops, but the trade off (to say nightfalls with better drop rates, but no targeting) is that the RNG could be VERY shitty. 2. The 10 or so few exotics that I have masterworked, all of them came from either world drops, GM/Master drops or the occasional Xur cracked roll.
